You can also open PocketTally → Settings → Report an Issue to include optional diagnostic logs.

Where are my records stored?

Core transactions, categories, budgets, preferences, and receipt file references are stored on your device. PocketTally does not require an account or bank connection.

How does receipt scanning work?

Receipt scanning is optional. When you choose it, PocketTally explains the external processing involved before the first scan. You can review and edit every extracted field before saving.

How do I back up or export my data?

Open Settings to export transactions as CSV or create a records backup. Keep exported and backup files somewhere you control. Receipt image files are not embedded in backups.

Is PocketTally Pro available?

The initial release provides the core tracker for free. If a paid offering becomes available later, its features, price, billing period, and renewal terms will be shown before purchase.
